Would a 6 speed box fit my car?
Would a 6 speed fit straight into my car?
Volvo S80 D5.........
C5 2.2HDi Exclusive 2003 manual (now gone).

Technically anything could be made to fit but usually the expense far outweighs the benefit. There's no 6 speed ready to fit to your engine.

Hi mate mine is a 2.2 hdi exclusive 2004 mk1 it has the 6 speed box fitted from the factory, but i dont know wether you would need the gearlever aswell for the 6th gate. I know the 5speed gearboxes are the same to look at with the addition of the 6th gear, so yes it will bolt up to your engine ok but you might need the gear lever.waynedance wrote:Oh well I thought the 2004 model had the engine.
