On my Xantia V6 I had a Powerflow system (cat back) fitted... beautiful sound and the guy spent all day fitting it. It was a work of art!

Unfortunately I don't know any exhaust places here, although I know of a good one in Leek near where I live in Stoke, don't suppose you're ever up that way are you? It's called Silver Systems, should be on Google I'd have thought

Big City Tyres are just a Kwik-Fit type place. Stay well away.Lighty wrote:http://www.pdgough.com/
I can personally recommend P D Gough. They used to be in Watnall just off Junction 26 of the M1.
They custom-made a stainless steel exhaust for me about 20+ years ago for my RS2000 and it still looks new.
They used marine grade stainless steel (316 from memory) and made it to pattern. The quality of their welding is second-to-none.
I doubt they will be cheap but when you consider I paid £325, again from memory, for a complete exhaust excluding manifold which has lasted this long and will die probably a long time after me then it's worth it.
Re: Stainless steel factory spec rear silencer?
Big city tyres in Notts do powerflow systems to fit to pattern. I have seen some of there jobs and they are good.

Very small world! Usually south toward birmingham so powerflow is in the more likely directionDommo wrote: I work in Burton on Trent in the Queens hospital! In fact I'm there right now

Nottingham is just down the road aswell
Plenty of options then

Re: Stainless steel factory spec rear silencer?
It will be substantially more expensive now if only because of the massive increase in material prices.Rhothgar wrote:Lighty wrote:http://www.pdgough.com/
