Hi All,
The book says to "Apply sealing compound to the end camshaft bearing caps", but it doesn't make clear what sealant to use. Is a thin smear of silicone OK, or should I use something else - or nothing? There didn't seem to be anything there when I took the cam out.
And I was impressed by the quality of the machining... and surprised there were no bearings, the cam just running in the head - must be a hefty oil supply!
