xantia ball joints, track rods and ar drop links.

Hi all, I replaced the ar link and the horrid rattle has gone. Now I'm getting a similar sounding rattle at slow, near full lock driving over pot holes. We're talking car park speeds.
I feel its a track rod but can't replicate it at all. Could be a lower ball joint.
Anyway, this being an early car it has the different anti roll links. I wondered if the ball joint and track rods also differed on early xants?

Despite changing lots of things I am still getting occasional air in fuel symptoms occasionally like this morning. I'm going to bypass the filter housing to try to eliminate it. Next tank pick up, and then diesel pump itself (can a borked pump let in air?)

I had rattles that were definitely eliminated by replacing the steering links. As I did inner and outer at once, can't say which had the desired outcome.

BTW genuine Citroën inner ends are cheap (around 15 squid each; they have a 96 part number), and Fleabay usually has NOS outers similarly priced (same part as 605 and maybe 205).

Thanks matey, if anything I think it's the inner.

Peugeot 106 and Citroen Saxos use the same size track rod end as Xantias and Xms. More abundant on e-bay, and carried by many motor factors.
