C4 GP Parking sensors

Post by Sl4yer »

Hi.

My father got rear-ended last week in his C4 GP, which has put the parking sensors out of action. The repairing garage said they would reset, but it appears (from Lexia) that the left hand side one is permanently beyond repair. It looks like the sensors aren't available separately, but come with the bumper harness. Unfortunately, he's settled with the other party based on the garage's quote to repair the bumper and reset...

Please could someone with access to Citroen Service look up a price for part 6575Y3?

Thanks.

Thanks for that Ken. Thinking that sounded too good to be true, I've delved deeper and found the actual sensors individually. Available on the web for £60.

Thanks again,

James

They are available from Citroen - there are 2 part Nos (possibly dependong on the age, but also maybe 5 / 7seat version) - 6590CK / 6590A5. Both are around £72 each... They are also used in the front, should be possible to get some out of a scrapper?

Thanks Richard.

The bodyshop have said they'll sort it for him for the original price. Probably got a bin full knocking about!
