Synergie automatic?.

Post by thatfatbloke »

Just spotted a Synergy with an autobox on ebay. I was under the impression that Synergy's were only made with manual boxes,or was that just the 1.9td's?. This one is a 2.0 SX petrol. Perhaps it's been converted, there is a problem with reverse gear apparently in that it judders in reverse, probably a band adjustment costing £300 according to the seller.
1996 Synergie 1.9td - the money pit!!. Long gone.
1997 Lexus LS400 - a proper car.

I've never seen an autobox fault that just a brake band adjusment would fix.

I recall the petrol auto and was very tempted by one back in '98 as I had auto box company cars. Ended up with a manual 1.9TD (which I still have). The fuel consumption on the auto looked frighteming.
