Can anyone explain how to put photos on here pleas
Can anyone explain how I can put photos on here becuase I like to show everyone me heap.
There's a few traps to it.
For starters, you need to already have the pic on the 'net somewhere, preferrably on a website. You then run the curser over the pic & right click; scroll down to properties and copy the URL.
Then go to the "format" section where the messages are posted & run the cursor over the icons until you get to the "Outlook Express" symbol. The nextsymbol to the right will say in yellow "Insert Image"
When you click that, you get this : Click the cursor between the two [img] symbols & insert the URL that you copied from your website pic so that it ends up looking like this
[img]this%20is%20where%20the%20URL%20for%20the%20pic%20will%20be%20sitting%20&%20will%20look%20like%20this%20when%20you%20hit%20"post%20new%20reply"[/img]
When it appears on the board, the pic will appear where the URL was on the message minus the [img] boxes of course.
If you don't have any pics on a website, you can always do so by going here:- http://www.express-soft.com/etc/
but remember that if you post the URL of a thumbprint, that's what you'll get. It has to be clicked on & enlarged & thencopied to appear at its normal size.
Hope you can understand that as it comes from a 'puter illiterate person; me!!
