c5 interior info req`d

hey guys not been on here for ages

ive been offered an interior from a 2006/7 c5 door cards carpets/seats the lot

question is would these fit into a 53 reg c5 vtr?
dont seem much difference from inside???

When you've got the answer plse tell us also are the wires for the electric seats installed in VTR trim cars?

im not sure where would the wires be tucked away???

im assuming they changed nothing interior between s1 and s2 cars?

is it just a feed for the seats or does it run through the ecu???

Not a huge amount of difference between the C5I and C5II on the inside. The II has a slightly different dash insert and a trim detail running through it. Door cards and seats should all fit in, though I will be very interested in the outcome.

Is it a leather set you have been offered?

no its not its the velour , it very similar to the vtr ones but all electic and look brand new

gonna have a look under seats tomorrow when got some daylight , theres loads of wire coming through im assuming for the airbags etc, what plug am i looking for electric seats???

Oh yes, I know the ones, standard on Exclusive trim levels.

I've been considering fitting leathers to my C5II VTR but ive not yet looked for the electric connections which would be needed in the car. Id hope they were already in place but it wouldnt surprise me if they were not.

im hoping there are there as i have the full colour sat nav etc so hope it would be the full loom they fitted

just done some digging under my seat and tied away is a big black plug with pink blue and yellow and 2 smaller red wire and a small brown , is that the seat controls???

Hmm, possibly but could also be for the CD changer, im not sure

Did you fit the CD changer?

Mine has the wires under the seats and also the cage to hold the changer. So I bought a CD changer and plugged it in, many hours infront of the Lexia later and I discovered that no wires go from under the seat to the back of the radio. They really do think of everything

no changer was factory fitted , only vtr i saw with sat nav etc which is why i brought it plus the guy didnt have a clue about citroens and got it dirt cheap only paid 1500 over 2 year ago

on a plus note i have exactly same wire/plug from under passenger seat might get multi meter out for a quick test

That is an unusual spec for a S1 C5 VTR, is it a 2.0 HDi?

Im not sure what to do about my CD changer, it is still there under the seat but I need to get a cable through to the back of the radio and access is tight to say the least!

yes its a 2.0 hdi 110,didnt want the 2.2 as heard they not as reliable.
It was a company car for hsbc so may explain the sat nav etc, shame they never ordered cruise

Have you not added cruise to it yourself?

I did to my 04 2.0HDi 110 VTR, its easy and straight forward.
