c5 suspention problem help needed plz

hi there people i have a 2002 citroen c5 2.0 hdi all has been well till today i parked the car outside my house and was loading a few things into the boot and noticed lots of red liquid coming from the O/S rear so had a quick look n its pouring out and hissing so theres also air leaking aswell and after about 30 mins the rear of the car is scrapping the ground nearly anyone got any ideas as to weather its a bust sphere or could it be just a buggered pipe

Almost certainly a pipe or coupling. The spheres are very robust - I've never heard of one leaking externally.
It's just possible that the seals on a strut have gone, but they usually fail gradually.
The only way to find out for sure is by inspection, but you'll need to support the rear of the car securely before getting underneath; even a healthy suspension system can drop suddenly, causing severe injury or death!
The hissing is probably just the fluid escaping - unlikely to be air.

Red liquid??? I do hope you mean orange Be aware that once all the LDS has been pumped out on to the road you probably won't have much in the way of steering power either.

well i taken the car to a garage n they have inspected the problem and it turns out to be a pipe that has blown n i also got a nice bill for £280 grrrrr
