I have the 1.4 AL4 transmission here in Australia. It had a huge issue in the warranty period with the transmission but was fixed under warranty. Since then I have changed the oil in it at every service and it has been pretty reliable so far with no issues. Its no speedster but a C3 is not meant to be. I would be looking at normal Transmission personally.
