Post by dangerousbrian »

I have a Bosch Lambda Sensor 258003568 4 wire Zirconia (one plug type) fitted on my vintage Xantia 1.8 16v 1996 LFY engine, which i'm looking to change at 82,000 miles, question is when i look to buy the same bosch one, it has been replaced now with the 2 plug type :( , does anyone know of say a "fuel parts" or Comparable one :) , Cheers if anyone can help

You can try ebay.
Another option --> Lambda for Xantia >>"2nd page"

LFY 1996 Xantia says Bosch 0258003717 which is four wires and length 565 mm.

earlier cars had the tip heater and signal wires on seperate two pin plugs later cars were on a single plug usualy black with red tangs marked 'SAAB' for reasons i dont fully understand, Also bear in mind you pay for the plug, if you find one cheaper you can always solder your old sensors plug onto it if the price difference is huge, i think Citroen want £200 for thee old two plug setup.

Mitsubishi L200 Trojan 14
Xantia Activa 95, sold (missed)

Service Citroen is awesome, it shows me pictures of all the parts i used to be able to buy............
