xantia v6 info needed...

Post by citroenxm »

Hi v6 owners...

I have an ongoing issue with my old v6.... Which the current owner is still having. The car has a cold engine missfire which does clear when warm and doesnt come back till very cold again.. Ive fitted plugs and an inlet gasket when i had her.. Now the new owner has apparently tried two coil packs to no avil.. She still does it for him... So i guess we need a lexia session.. How ever i could do with some info like parameter readings from someones healthy v6 so i can compare..

So anyone with a P or R reg mk.1 v6 and a lexia who can take down the two screens of live parameters for me?? You dont have to write anything down.. A mobile phone camera takes a good enough picture if it has a good camera..

Heres hoping

thanks
paul

It doesn't need to me a MK1 Paul, the MK2 uses exactly the same injection and ignition..

I can do the honours for you tomorrow if you wish but it'll be on an early MK2...

Thats a start John, but for a Pug 406... Is that an early 406 or a later VVT one?

I could ideally do with COLD START readings, as the engine is fine when warm!

Thanks for those John.. Ill load them to my phone and keep them handy..

And HNY to you John :-D

Yep, I'll do but can't right now as mine is still hot after a blast to Somerset and back today....

With Lexia3 I should be able to capture the screenshots electronically rather than take screen photos. We'll see...

Hi Paul, this is my V6 cold and just after startup..

Injection Information:

Image

Ignition information

Image

Sensors:

Image

And finally, driving parameters although the car was not moving at the time...

Image

'Fraid the engine warmed a bit whilst this was going on.

Don't forget that even from just off ciold the Oxygen Sensor will be cyclically varying between about 100mV and 850mV.

Hope that helps...
