i`ve also read that `oilman` has been banned off many forums - as his page long posts usually finish with an advert for his own oil products....
specifically i believe it was when someone from mobil debunked some things he actually said

If this was aimed at me .. most people know the length of my posts by nowHarlequin wrote:i`ve also read that `oilman` has been banned off many forums - as his page long posts usually finish with an advert for his own oil products....

Im mearly helping, given the personal experience I have through using the products myself. I dont sell them, I have nothing to do with the company and even if I did only trade can buy them anyway. Products found on ebay are owned by the public, and no, I don't sell them on there either.
I can see how it might appear so my comments have been minimised.

Ive seen him on various forums, though not for a few years since I used to drive Seats. I remember asking him about the best oil for my TDi back then, didn't know he had been banned from some, I can see why though, a forum is not the place to push advertising. Handy if he was just offering advice though.
That is the last thing I want, for my comments to be percieved as advertising for a company, I just get a bit carried away with posting at times
