i`ve also read that `oilman` has been banned off many forums - as his page long posts usually finish with an advert for his own oil products....

specifically i believe it was when someone from mobil debunked some things he actually said

If this was aimed at me .. most people know the length of my posts by now :lol:

Im mearly helping, given the personal experience I have through using the products myself. I dont sell them, I have nothing to do with the company and even if I did only trade can buy them anyway. Products found on ebay are owned by the public, and no, I don't sell them on there either.

I can see how it might appear so my comments have been minimised.

Ive seen him on various forums, though not for a few years since I used to drive Seats. I remember asking him about the best oil for my TDi back then, didn't know he had been banned from some, I can see why though, a forum is not the place to push advertising. Handy if he was just offering advice though.

That is the last thing I want, for my comments to be percieved as advertising for a company, I just get a bit carried away with posting at times :lol:
