Re: Citroën dispatch
i fitted a new filter houseing to a customers DW8 Blingo which took na lot of cranking to start,
the primmer plundger was damp with fuel around the base, this is why i fitted a new houseing as the plundger is built into it,
that did not fix the problem and a few months later someone recomended him to a diesel specialist ,
he found the oneway valves in the feed return banjo unions at the pump to be sticking, fixed those and no more problems startting,
regards malcolm

Re: Citroën dispatch
Didn`t see any noticeable difference when i started it today, still had to rev it quite a few times before it feels as though it will not cut out. Dont know if there is any relevance but next to the bonnet release catch there is hole which has a pipe from the airbox atteched near it. When it is cold it seems to blow a lot of air out from this hole
Re: Citroën dispatch
After reading various other threads, i believe that i have got something wrong with a fuel injector as i have symptoms similar to another poster, hammering noise, sluggish and heavy fuel consumption.
I only notice the hammering noise when started from cold.
