Clock fault

Post by i3 »

Hey all,
have an odd fault with the clock in the xantia. sometimes, the screen appears illuminated, but blank, no time/date/temp anything. after a very short while the display "fades" back in until it's clear and proper as usual, however, the time and date are both reset.
what's going on??
thanks

Most clocks have 2 power feeds: 1. power for clock, 2. feed from instrument lighting. I'd guess you have a dodgy connection on 1. Worth checking what is on same fuse as fuse box connection faults aren't uncommon.
