Is that a three or four digit display James (should be four for a CX GTi Turbo), but looks like three?jwalshe wrote:I think you might be referring to the central computer display for a CX GTi Turbo!

Nope it's definately a four digit display. It came off my old Series 1 GTi Turbo 1 - it had a keypad computer thingy with ETA functions and all sorts. Made nice 1980s bleeping noises.

...would've been your Series 2 Turbo 1 as the Series 1 didn't have the display, but I know what you mean!jwalshe wrote:Nope it's definately a four digit display. That's unreal. It was in showroom condition when I sold it in 2000. Must have been written off, surely. Which makes me feel a bit sad, to say the least!

Grey? Dull description! It was 'pewter' according to the brochure
Maybe somebody has stored it away... I'd like to think so, anyway.

Re: Attic Find - Spot the Part!
Could it not be the case that the car is simply off the road? Wasn't it around that time that this SORN malarky came in and AFAIK untaxed cars prior to that date appear to have been left pretty much alone from the few people I've spoken to that have cars in that situation.Citroening wrote:...apparently died in 2006 according to the DVLA.

Re: Attic Find - Spot the Part!
I did think that earlier Richard, however I thought it came in before 2006 and as it's also coming up unlicensed it doesn't look good.
BUT, you never know! It could be still out there...
Edit - just done some googling and apparently SORN was introduced in 1998.
