It's worth checking the oil filler cap is good. The rubber seal in it goes to a horrible gooey mess and stops working. I had to replace the cap on my HDi and was staggered to find my local Stealer keeps them in stock because they fail so often...

Hi not filler cap looking from top right near bulkhead it is wet on rocker gasket seal and on inlet manifold right hand cylinder, there is also oil mist under sound proof cover. The leak is'nt massive just needs sorting out, assuming it is blowing around this area and making mess.

Had the same on mine. it was leaking where the little breather tube leaves the rocker cover and goes to the air intake pipe. The pipe will be solid and in need of replacement I suspect.

Hi now area is clean had a run and it is coming from inlet manifold gasket with oil making its way up to rocker area.Any advice on difficulty of repair, anyone else had to renew this gasket.Assuming oil mist gets into air pipes after intercooler and escaping, could be why MPG is only 43 :(
