Disconnected maf now eml light's on
On an 02 2.0 hdi c5.....It's sluggish under 3grand and thought i'd.disconnect it to see what happened, I disconnected the battery for a hr or 2 to see if it reset it but did bugger all. Dont tell me i need to go to dick turpin to get it done

Chances are it needs a new MAF.
EML should reset after you have run it a while - it can take five runs before it does though.
If the MAF is shot, it won't reset - or not permanently anyway.
Check for leaking vacuum pipes and leaks in the intercooler/hoses.
Best of all, find a member local to you and negotiate a Lexia diagnostic on it, by far the best way to aid problem solving.
