Well im on auto web autotrader motors.co.u,k and preloved but preloved is rubbish only can upload one photo. Unless you pay for more. The motors one came up in my email today saying it just gone uo. Evern though i did it at the weekend.
Sods law it is get a decant car cant afford it. I thought it would be a good ideea getting a petrol. With it being cheapeer but i was wrong. I think i worked it out. If you do 10 to 20 miles aday. Petrol will seem to be fine. But if you do 30 to 40 miles aday. I think diesle. Would be better

There is a 7p per litre difference on diesel and petrol around here, it almost makes my Activa look tempting as a daily  Well ok, the gap would have to increase by a bit ...

Preloved, I would never have thought about selling a car on there, have bought and sold animals on there but not cars  might be worth a try if I need one shifting.

An advertiser of few words. Glad he put a comma between red and diesel though...

Could be worth a close look. these brief ads sometimes turn up real gems...

Are the 2.1 Xantias safe to run on veg oil, I hear that the Lucas Epic pumps are weak in comparrison to the Bosch, or can they be converted to a bosch pump?

A 605 is no doubt more costly to insure than a HDi Xantia!

Yes, your best avoiding veg oil with an Epic pump, people have converted to Bosch but its not as simple as just swapping the pump.

If you want a 2.1 on veg you migh tbe bets finding a Bosch XM 2.1, though that is no easy task

Thanks for the advice mate, its a shame, the last 2 Xantias I had were 1.9, one was a TD and the other was non turbo but they happily ran well on veg oil along with a couple of Pug 406 DTs, I thought the 2.1 was the one to go for but I must have been mis informed, the car goes well, I fiddled with the pumps on the 1.9s and got some extra power but I believe its a no no on these Lucas pumps???
