xantia main beam failure

xantia 1.9td main beam failure, i recently lost the near side main beam, checked the bulb which was ok, now the off side has stopped working, anyone any experience of this?

Fuses?

Did you check the bulb by powering it up or swapping it over? Sometimes they can look fine but still be u/s.

Once I caused the main beam fuse blown by mistake :roll: The opposite side rear lights were also gone with the same fuse.

Are the rear lights working in yours? They are like [Front Right -- Rear Left] connected.

i checked the bulbs when the first side went out and both ok, led a wire from the working side and both beams came on, now nothing could it be a suspect feed or if its the fuse where is it?

Was it cabin or engine room fuse box, I don't remember :? .
Owner's manual is in the car. Anybody else?

EDIT: I found a list where the fuses are marked as,
High beam (R) 12, (L) 13
Low beam (R) 14, (L) 15
all 10A, engine room fuse box.
