it is on headunit module, you have to find customer mode then CD PLAYER option which is marked as "missing". switch it to present, confirm by F5 (programming) and log out of that module. cd changer will work
you dont have to modify settings in BSI.

hi i have an 06 c5 hdi 1.6 16v design i havent fitted a cd changer but a unit that emulates a cd changer and plays sd and usb memory sticks the problem is it plays ok all controls on stalk work but on the info panel it shows no track number or anything yet radio and the single disc cd is fine other than the missing display it works a treat just wondering if cd changer needs to be programmed to car but what baffles me is it plays fine ?????

problem solved tried lexia no luck but uninstalled unit then reinstalled and then activated with lexia 3 and mf display showing cd track and track time information

That looks exactly like the socket on the CD changer of my 607 (year 2001). I am trying to figure out why all the manufacturers of CD changer emulutors / adaptors / AUX in etc list a different part number for Peugeot to Citroen (like xcarlink, yatour etc)? When the CD changer is the same? or is it?
On the 607 the head unit to CD changer protocol changed when they went from VAN bus to CAN bus. upto 2005 was the RT2/RC2 which uses RD3 protocol. After 2005 it went CANbus and RD4 protocol. The two are not compatible, I strongly suspect the same is true of the C5.
