Due to things such as "house cleaning" and "gardening" I've been neglecting the jobs needed on Cassy (cam belt, glow plugs, heater matrix, leak off pipes), and in true Xantia style, she's blown one of her air horn pipes off, and now started whining from the rear.
It's like a quiet constant air raid siren starting from about 40mph increasing in tone with speed and unrelated to engine speed.
Still occurs when I apply the brakes.
Rear bearing?
