As I said earlier, I don't think it's the caused by Bitron but if you want to give a try ...

The fan motor that starts with a flick needs tapping with a mallet or hammer to help it along, and that may fix it for a good while.
If the relay voltage has now disappeared, the 5A fuse must have blown.
The HDi doesn’t have a Bitron for the fans, I think that the ECU controls the relays from the single blue temperature sensor.

Well as I had bothe fans spinning last night, and the AC fan working this morning im trying to cross off wiring faults before I have to spend any money. Anyways the bitron I found, check the vid
Got my 5 yr old get in there with his small hands to check and there nothing there, and no cables or wires running into that area, so is that the wrong Bitron Im looking at?

Unfortunately both Double relay and Air Con Bitron have same manufacturer called Bitron
Double relay (fuel, ignition etc) is next to ECU (as you have already found):
I had the chance to get an insight view (from a scrap car).
You can see why it's called double relay:

It seems that you need to replace both fan motors.
New ones cost a bit but they last long. Try to see if ebay offers a better choice.
Scrap car part will be cheaper but no time guarantee.

Vert! I think Ive sorted it out, well 50%
Been at it since 9am and was ready to try anything, so I disconected the battery, cleaned every sensor plug I could see, changed the blown AC fuse (which was fine an hour earlier) put the battery back on after half hour.
Tried the AC and the driver side fan booted instantly, tried this about 10 times succesfully. Let the car temp build up to just below 100, neither fan kicked in. But soon as I put the ac on screen drivers fan booted bringing down the engine temp instantly. YEY
Strange thing is the fan will only come on when you set the slider to screen. I know that selecting screen puts the AC on regardles but even with the AC turned on an the airflow possition to cabin the fan didnt boot.
Slide it to screen and off it roars.

From my experience and I hope it helps.
I had to replace rad fan motors 2 times already (both times from a scrap car).
I have a big reading in the clock Don't wonder how it's possible
- First case, the right side (driver's side in RHD) failed, on/off several times, high engine temperature etc.
When I noticed the high temperature, I checked if they are running. Both of them not running.
I gave a spin to right one and both started.
Solution: Replaced both.
- Second case, Left side stopped working. I noticed this during summer time when the air condition button was always pressed on.
When I started the car I heard immediately the fast running fan motor sound. I thought it was too hot, and ECU forced to fast speed immediately.
After a couple of days I checked visually and to my surprise only one of them was running and in fast speed.
Solution: Replaced both.
Until then may be somebody will come with a solution.
