When overhauling the brakes last night (on my Xantia 1996 Estate 1.9) I noticed that the O/S driveshaft inner boot was split. On researching the forum I read the following thread:
http://www.frenchcarforum.co.uk/forum/v ... driveshaft
I don't think I will be replacing the lower mount as well as it seems in good condition.
Does anyone have any further tips on removing the O/S driveshaft?
Cheers

the only other thing is to have a container under the diff as you pull the shaft out, as you will loose approx 1lt of gear oil,
then re/top up with the correct BV spec gear oil,
that is if you didnt drain the gear box before hand,
ps.
also have to hand a new diff outlet oil seal, as citroen recomend fitting a new one if the shaft is removed,
