Citroen C5 1.6 Hdi. P Code 1351

Can anybody advise me as to what P Code 1351 means. The car is running perfectly, or seems to be. I ran a scan, out of curiosity & get this fault. Can anybody advise.

P1351 IDM input circuit Malfunction/Ignition coil control circuit High voltage
SID 803 - Pre/Post heating relay circuit. Relay not controlled and glow plugs supplied.

Thanks myglaren. Is this a major, or a minor problem, expensive, or inexpensive.

Well, there's the rub, the code only indicates a problem for further investigation.

My money would be on a failing glow-plug relay.
Removing it, cleaning the contacts and those of the socket it goes in to may be all that is needed. Or a replacement relay.
If the problem is the control circuitry (ECU) then things get more difficult and more expensive.

Hang around a bit until those who really know about these things get back from swimming in a field near March and they will enlighten you to a far greater degree.

This fault code usually means there is a glow plug or two not operating.
