Time interval between pressure regulator ticking

Post by lancia58 »

I measured today the time interval between two consecutives pressure regulator ticking and it was 70 – 80 seconds . Is this duration normal ? I read on other posts that it should be around 30 seconds. May it be that part of the Hydraulic system is partially clogged so the pressure that is built in the accumulator decrease more slowly ? I have a none hyderactive Xantia SX 2.0 16V make year 2000

Thanks

It is normal.
It should be more than 30 seconds.
Less than 30 seconds means accumulator sphere needs replacing, or something else is wrong.
