FDV Filters - where to buy?

Post by steelcityuk »

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a supplier of rebuild kits or filters for the FDV? On mine one is missing all the mesh and the other has holes in it.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks Malcolm.

I called Pleiades but they had none in stock but said filters are available from Citroen still. Anyhow I found the part number as 95 534 068, I called the local dealer - Autoworld in Chesterfield, nice to deal with and helpful, he said that Citroen have them in stock and that they are listed as Manifold Filters. Anyhow the price inc VAT is £7.25 so I've ordered 2 sets before they go out of fashion.

Hopefully Wednesday should see them delivered.

years gone by at a citroen service agent's i used to work at they reconed these filters failed, due to people pinching the rubber pipe seal on fitting pipes, and the rubber fragments being shot through the filters at high valosity when the system was presureised,
