I've got 2 Halfords torque wrenches, the big one and the small one. They are nice to use and supposedly accurate, either Car Mechanics or Practical Classics rated them best in test. For loosening tight stuff I either use a Makita electric impact wrench or 3/4 socket set and scaffold bar. What I like about the impact wrench is it will loosen bolts and nuts on items which would rotate using other means, track rod end for example.
Breaker bars are aptly named I think, very useful at the scrapyard.
