Hi everyone.
Had the dreaded mot test on my Xantia today, got myself all prepared for a big bill (like i usually seem to get for my mot,s) but lo and behold she went straight through no prob,s not even so much as an advisory notice to worry about!! RESULT!!
50 plus mpg motoring plus cheap and hassle free mot, cant be bad!!
Considering i only paid 150 quid for the car in the first place i,m well chuffed.
Vive la Citroen!
Regards

Not a bad day then :D , i always use my local council run mot station (Leicester) flies through every year, council run stations are fair and if it fails i know it is a genuine failure. All council run test centres only do mots no repairs, so no motivation for making up work.

Do council mots in google- there’s a whole load on info on moneysavingexpert.com.

im sure Its saved me hundreds over the years

I use In n Out as we get a discount through work.
2 years ago it was only £10 for an mot, then £20 last year and £35 this year.
Very professional and not set up to do any big work themselves so not a company that makes false claims to get more money.

Its always good when your car flies through with no advisorys @D

I thought in and out went bust? Certainly it had money issues and I think the one around here was bought out by the managers. £48 our local one charges for an MOT! I get mine for £28 by a local garage or £35 from the Citroen indy.

I used to take my four cars to the County Council Transport depot for MOT - but then I found http://www.justmots.eu - so I take them all there now, booked online for £35 a time.
