Where is the Xsara MK2 1.6i 16V headlamp washer fuse? Location, inside the car or the engine room?
I need this help for a friend of mine who broke one of the headlamp washer heads.
He would like to disable it by removing the fuse. No owner's manual
Thanks in advance.

I'd agree its unlikely a single item such as headlight washers operate on their own independent fuse. You'd need to check nothing else is going to be awol from removing it.
I was going to say why not disconnect the pump / motor for them but I guess that's going to be fiddly to get at.

Every single washer fuse on PSA cars I've come across is on its own fuse in the engine bay. Most are 10A, so the Xsara having a 20A may suggest something else is on it but the only thing listed against F7 is the headlamp washers.

Job done Sending greetings from my friend to you.
As said above F7 (20 A) in engine compartment is found easily.
It's good that the fuse numbers are seen. So it was a mini fuse and headlamp washers
are out of the game
If any help to other Xsara owners, here's the pic:
PS: I didn't check (forgot) if the fog lamps are working but it's not at all a problem.
Edit: Just been out to check, fog lights (both front and rear) are working.
It seems that in Xsara behind F7 there is only one device.

Thanks spider, this was the method I used in mine many years ago. I've saved lots of wash water since thenspider wrote:... I was going to say why not disconnect the pump / motor for them but I guess that's going to be fiddly to get at.
