Xantia fuel leak

Hi, my Xantia td, The pipe from fuel pump [ I guess ] into first injector [ left ] is split ! by the fuel pump. Iam suprised to see the pipe is larger internally pump end.Is there a technical name for this pipe ? I have bodged it with tape for now,

Is this the smaller rubber pipe that also is used to "link" the injectors ? , if so that's the leak off pipe. Its cheap to buy a length new and replace it.

If not, can you take a picture so we can see where you mean ?

I'm assuming its that, as the higher pressure pipes you would know if they leaked.

By the sounds of it, if its a rubber pipe on the bottom of the injectors (and small pieces of the same pipe link the injectors) you just need a length of leak off pipe.

It will cause starting issues if its leaking. Its quite cheap to buy and just a push fit as its not under any real pressure. Note one injector (at least) has a 'cap' at the end of the row, don't throw that away. :)

A picture would really help, even if you have to find one on Google and link to it.
