Because gm bought daewoo in the end.. And rebadged them as chevys to try and get them marketing a small car...
Saw a 55 chevey caddy on the m1 yrsterday on the way home... You could get 5 matiz's in that... It was bloody huge!!!

Ahh, I thought GM had owned Daewoo for much longer. That does explain it!
I've seen a big old chevvy bigger than 4x4 looking thing knocking around our area. Definitely a US import, still got the plates. Fair enough up country but in most parts of Devon its a struggle to get two family saloons past each other let alone one of those dirty great beasts.
