I have concluded that Series 1 and Series 2 front suspension arms are the same at least the non Active Suspension ones. Looking for what I thought was a hydraulic leak I spotted that the near side lower arm rear suspension bush was shot. I have had a pair of arms kicking around for several years, not sure what they are off other than it was a Series 1, probably a 1.8 petrol. Anyway, they seem to have new bushes and swapping out the full unit on my Series 2 HDi was pretty straight forward - the arms look the same and seem to fit, can anybody confirm they are the same or have I missed something subtle.
Anyway this might explain the slight kick of the steering wheel to the left everytime I lifted off the accelerator.

I have just replaced my Activa P bushes and they seem to be the same accross the board, the only difference between them is they are handed.
As you say the actual arms are only different for the Activa as they have a taped hole for the ARC linkages and they may be a bit longer as the activa has a wider track but im not sure on that.

If I'm not mistaken, the leveller link mounting boss is there on non-Activated arms, just undrilled.
And just to clarify the "E" coded parts Malcolm lists - they are "Economy" versions for those wishing to spend slightly less on repairs. Funny; the idea of trying to save on repairs yet going to a main dealer...
