Welding Clapham area

Post by c.morewood »

Sorry for being a little off topic.
My daughter, who lives in Clapham needs a small bit of welding done to her KA for the mot. She's not at all car savvy and gets a bit intimidated going into garages and I'm too far away to help.
Are there any "friendly" welding places/ member who weld in that area?
Thanks
Chris

Shame she is not nearer to East Sussex as both Citronut and I could help, being dab hands at the alchemy of turning rust back to solid metal.

You know the real problem, its the wrong car (KA) :vomit1: It should be a Citroen, or the very least a Peugeot.

Teenagers driving cars! Whatever next! I suppose they'll stop you having to drive with a walking footman, waving a red flag, in front of the car soon.

BTW, there does seem to be a plethora of shady small garages based in the Clapham area, all invariably lodged in the railway arches.8-) Spoilt for choice really, just dont get one that does pigeon welding.

Yes there are quite a few.. but I thought a personal recomendation, rather than putting a pin in a map blindfolded, would help. And with the wealth of knowledge on this forum I thought there might ust be someone local to her.
I'm stilll hopeful !! :D
