Citroen Xsara Picasso Cambelt instruction

Post by willy »

Hello,

I took the plunge and bought the Citroen Xsara Picasso. I believe it has the DW10 engine.

Does anyone have any advice on doing the timing belt. I did the timing belt on my old Peugeot 406 1.9 TD XUD but is the citroen any harder being an HDI?

Thanks

Willy

The Hdi engine will be easier because you only need to lock the cranckshaft and the camshaft pulley.

The injection pump isn't timed.
