a freind of mine has a MK1 Picasso,
he has not used the plip for quite some time now,
i bought him a pair of replacement rubber buttons as he had the opennings taped up,
whilst i had the car in for MOT work i thought i'd fit the new rubbers and get the plip working,
firstly the battery was flat, and after fitting a good one the plip/central locking still does nout,
i have tried re/initialiseing it as the owners manual sudgests,
i have also checked the fuse,
i could not see were/how i could sort it with my DIS LEXIA,
any ideas welcome i spoz appart from scrapping it

i did check with a plip tester this afternoon and there is a signal transmitting,
i have also spoken to my local pug parts manager only realy because he give's info out easyer than the local citro dealers,
he firstly said i need the plip code to enter into my DIS LEXIA,
so i spoke to the citro dealers parts man who got me the security card code,
which is a 4 digit code, my DIS LEXIA is asking for a 5 digit code when in the plip programming learning/section,
but in the inmobaliser learning are it does only ask for the 4 digit code that i have,
so i called the pug dealers again just to confirm if it were the right code citroen was giveing me, and he says even they cant get the 5 digit code,
so how are you ment to restore a plip code without buying a brand new plip,
i have in the past programed the imobaliser chip in a new plain key with no plip on this car

Try 03114 , sorry if it doesn`t help but worth a try , i think the car is asking you for customer code ,
i can get Transponder codes and Mechanical Key codes but they cost £5 if anyone else is interested .

Thats strange (but good) ,because over here it costs £18 to get them from Dealercitronut wrote:if you mean by transpoder code the one for the imobaliser chip,
i can get PSA transponder key codes for nothing but the cost of a phone call to the dealer,
and so can anyone as long as you have the last 8 digits of your chassis/VIN No.,
