You'd need a laminated rear windscreen to use those effectively... And then the vehicle would need type approval for having the extra seats, meaning that in an accident, should the rear passengers get squashed (Which is what the boot is meant to do), you'll be in for a bit of a thrashing in front of a judge.

That is of course, if the Xantia wasn't approved with 7 seats... I can't ever recall seeing one though.

I never have liked the idea of putting passengers in crumple zones :wink:

Ages ago when we went to germany. My grandad put reare seats in his bx. There was 6 of of us. Parents spliting up type thing. We went all over with 7 seats in the boot. Didnt really think about it back then. I was only 12 somthing like that.
