Can't say I'm interested what they look like, as long as they work and cost less !!
Even though the Tesco ones are cr4p they do work better than conventional blades.

Just fitted these blades and first impressions are very favourable, definitely in a different league compared to the Tesco ones they have replaced ! Just have to wait for some rain now !

Yeah and don't forget to take the green plastic strip off the blade, like someone did. SWMBO wasn't best pleased whilst out in the rain

Not sure if you have a product called 'Rain-X' over there? If so, try it, guarantee you wont look back!!!

A good set of blades plus rain-x is like s%x in the rain!

Have used Rain-X on motorcycle helmet visors, it does work. Just too much hassle on a car windscreen !

Have just ordered 2 sets of these, here's hoping they live up to the hype  .

As for Rain-X it really does work well, used it in South Africa where it pours rather than rains.. good stuff!

I bought a pair of these for my Activa, they look good quality and appeared to work well with the windscreen wash. Not much rain about to try them at the moment though

Wow, ordered as mentioned yesterday and they arrived early this morning 8-) .

Fitted and they look good and perform well particularly when compared to the screaching blades that were on the car... they went straight in the bin!

I must say, the only downside to them is that they don't work as fast, on fast speed... I'm assuming this is due to the weight of them and also the extra drags caused by the better pressure distribution?

Excellent things though, can't wait for heavy rain to see if they're still as good. :)

Did have a bit of rain shortly after fitting mine and they work very well even on high speed in heavy'ish rain.
The only thing to mention is the nearside one leaves a section about 3" wide and a third of the screen high patch unswept. The curvature of the screen seems to be the issue, the end of the blade loses contact.

HDi, have you tried bending the tip of the blade around slightly to make it touch more of the glass? A bit of adjusting usually has them fitting better.

Easily done with aero wipers, dont bend it too much as it will lose pressure in the middle, but a bit and it should give a better contact with more of the edge of the screen.

Ive not driven the Xantia in the rain to test these ones yet. The XM has them fitted (a different make version) they work well but better at speed as they miss a bit in the middle. They are due a change so ill see how I get on with these ones on the Activa and see about getting some for the XM.

I purchased some cheap Aero blades from ebay which were Ok but originally missed part of the passenger side and got worse pretty quickly and started juddering.

I had to take them off as were getting annoying and I brought some original Bosch Blades again from ebay and they are working perfectly.
Regards
Tim

Were they the Bosch aero ones Tim of the original type?

Your C5 must be a bit earlier to the VTR I had, as mine had the standard fit aero wipers and arms, same as the facelifts.

Our 52 reg C5 has the after market Bosch aero blades and they are superb. I also had them on my old 206 with similarly good results.

Ill be interested to see how I get on with these cheaper versions on the Activa. Ive had similar ones in the past which performed quite well.
