sunroof stuck in tilt

Post by citrov6 »

Not sure why but the sunroof stuck on tilt. Checked the fuses they look ok. Whats the best way to tackle this, I wouldn't mind if it would just close even by manual means or by uncoupling it. In haynes all it says is its too complicated to try to do.
Love my black v6 xant - only one with cream coloured leather too!

Have you tried the manual override? Open the little hatch in front of the sunroof (on series one it will have the IR-receiver for the central locking), and use the little crank there to turn the motor manually.

there may be a lever you have to push over to disengage the clutch in the motor to be able to wind it back manually
