My 1995 Xantia electric sunroof is not working from before I purchased the car a month ago. In addition the REMOTE central locking is inoperative. I read a note that 1993 models were recalled due to incorrect wiring which caused both electric roof and remote locking to fail (because the receiver for the locking was next to the roof motor). Any idea if that might e the case on a '95 model? In that case is this an easy fix?

The sunroof on my 96 xantia est. had failed about a month ago after several months of intermittent working. I finally got round to looking at it a couple of nights ago and found that if I gave the motor a good tap with the handle of a fairly heavy screwdriver it started working again. The motor is easily accessable through the drop down panel with the remote sensor in it (assuming you have the earlier infra red remote)
