They had their act together, but I think lost it a bit now Peugeot have a much Larger hand in their operations.... :cry:

They (Peugeot) should have kept to just supplying engines and NOTHING else.

Sorry, no contribution to the topic but I found myself very lucky, still original clutch and 200k+ miles 8-)

Yes, I agree Paul.

Current Citroens are not bad cars, and a lot of new cars do have problems, whether they are Citroens, BMW, Volvos or whatever. Not every car but you will get the odd one with problems, sometimes substantial.

Hopefully your car will impress you enough over the next 6 months to keep it.

Ive ran C5Is and C5IIs for over 2 years now, and ive never had anything major go wrong (tempting fake here!). Minor niggly things but nothing too expensive and nothing which stopped me from using the car.

In truth our German cars had bigger problems than any Citroen we have ever had. Major rust problems on one young car, engines being replaced under warranty and gearboxes failing. Nothing like that with any of the Citroens, Peugeots or Renaults we have owned - of which there have been many!
