Hi folks,
Anyone breaking a ZX? I need this subject part as the battery terminal clamp has split on my trusty steed...

Is it the 'screw' on type ?

I just chopped mine off as it was not very good and fitted a universal one, although a bit of a fiddle I soldered the wiring as best as possible so the 'clamp' was clamping a decent lump and not strands, if that makes sense...

Does this not belong in the Sales/Wanted section?

You can buy seperate battery clamps that can be either screwed or solder back onto the original cables. PSA were know for fitting duff cables to their batteries. I have replaced a few clamps over the years.

If you cannot find the clamps, PM or email me.

i find they usualy fail if/when they are over tightend,

i dont usualy like the after market battery clamps, but i found some that clamp onto the cable by a pinch clap with a bolt at each end,

these are also quike release on the battery terminal's,

ECP sell them
