She has been laid to rest

Post by sooty »

:(

Well the old girl has been laid to rest.

She has served me and my son well in the 8yrs we had her. Never let us down, always ready to serve at our command without any grumble.

She had the original engine, head gasket, gearbox everything except the radiator.

The time came when she failed the MOT and my son felt it would have been a large expense to repair the rear suspension and the usual right front inner wing corrosion to keep her rolling.

So I would like to thank all those who helped with problems over the years on the forum. I will continue to look in from time to time if I can offer anyone any help.

Thanks

Am sorry to hear that :(

It is usually with the older models the cost (or 'garage cost') of rear axle issues that seems to cause their death. The mechanics as you know will live on for well, almost forever.
