Xantia wheels, tyres & trims - the complete works!? :–)
Call this a work in progress. It's not intended to be a PhD!

and discussion - I've chucked in a poll for everyone's favourite wheel choice!

Ooops.
Previously:
2009 Honda Civic :(
C5, C5, Xantia, BX, GS, Visa.
R4, R11TXE, R14, R30TX - x 4921
I'm sure I will burn in hell for this but I can't see the difference in most of them and very few look what I would call 'nice' - they are just round things to roll around on.
I include mine in this - they are crap but I wouldn't part with any money to change them - except maybe to have a set with winter tyres on.
To make matters worse in the heresy stakes, the best wheels I have seen are Alfa Romeo ones on a CX
I'm nailing the doors shut and I have a sawn off shotgun here, so there!
All those different sizes are as comprehensible as football pools* and cricket rules.
*do they still have football pools?

Yep, in most cases these are simply things that hold the corner of the car off
the floor. Additionlly some later s2 alloys have solid centres which are found
to be a PITA to get balanced satisfactorily.
FWIW, I feel the s2 wheeltrims and the Activa alloys are the most satisfactory
in the aethetics stakes being simple in apperance with some shape in their
cross section so giving the wheel a bit of shape but being easy to clean and
balance!
BTW Steve:
I'd agree with the Cx Alfa alloys as I run nearly all mine on 16" or 17"
5 hole cloverleaf rims myself.

I voted Activa alloys, you don't have to remove them to bleed the brakes.

dont know who's silver Activa that is Andrew but she's a looker
I voted MK1 VSX, that would be my choice if i had to run stock rims anyway even if you cant bleed the brakes with the wheels on the car.

Personally I like my wheels best, original 15 inch diameter and a half inch wider fitted with standard size tyres.
It infuriates me to be wrong when I know I'm right
