Lexia C1 / 107 / Aygo

Post by spider »

I was just wondering ;)

Does the Lexia (or indeed the Planet software) function with a C1 / 107 / Aygo ? , I would assume so but...

My understanding is these are not multiplexed at all.

I heard elsewhere talk of a ScanGauge, but this appears to be OBD2 and a few other features ?

I guess what I'm asking is, will a Lexia work with a C1 or its 'partners' ? :)
Andy.

Bear in mind that a car of the C1's age will be OBD compliant anyway, so said reader should work.

As far as I'm aware (I could be wrong) updates for the Lexia 2 ceased and they will read cars up until 2007. After that and I think the updates would only work with the Lexia 3, hence you'd need one of these.

I did wonder but I am half thinking of the HDi unit, hence wondering if Lexia would be better.

I have neither Lexia nor car, I'm just sort of investigating potential candidates choose from (as in Make / Models) , although I do think even the early HDi will be out of my price range. , although I do not like to have to work the transmission too hard, hence wanting a higher torque unit.

The little petrol unit does seem quite nice, I have been put off 3 cyl units having had a 1.0 Corsa  with one fitted years ago. Although saying that the 3cyl Polo (the 1.2) was quite nice so I should not judge all 3cyl by that.

The only real issue I am aware of is water pumps on the petrol units, although it does not look like its any issue to change at all, apart from a slight space concern.

I think I'm just posting my thoughts now 8-)

Checked the list of cars from mine and the left side column starts with C1.
