Berlingo brake regulating valve.

how do I free the brake regulating valve on a berlingo, the arm appears not to move.

This is not that uncommon, 206's also seize.

Spray it in penetrating fluid especially around the pivots and work it as best as you can, usually a pair of grips (careful to not bend the arm if its really seized) to work it.

If its really bad you may have to use a pry bar etc to initially move it, although that's not a common occurrence.

Obviously you need to be careful not to damage the valve itself.

Yep, plusgas, screwdriver and a small amount of force did the trick.
Coated it all with copperslip.

You`ll probably find it will be the same in a year again, although it will not be as 'bad' to de-seize next time around now its been done once.
