My Money is on the water pump. Mine needs doing and has the same symptoms except the water loss is much slower. Weather has stopped play though, I just do not like working on cars in sub zero temps !

Actually, what are the opinions on which pump to use, OEM, pattern, which pattern ?
Now using '00 Xantia LX HDI, pov spec :(

FAI etc pumps are very good! Ive never had a failed one from my Indy...

I put an FAi one on my TD xantia and so far done 50k with no leaks!

I use them on the HDi's aswell..
