Due to scumbags stealing my car transporter trailer...

Post by andmcit »

and tow car Xm and trailered passenger (Activa) I'm now in the right sh!t
and need to raise funds to buy another trailer for an enforced clearance of
vehicles from a storage barn. Bit of a chicken and egg scenario as some
w/could be kept but are more saleable than others that will now need to be
just weighed in.

I'll take time out asap to list specific vehicles but would like to see cars
going as spares or repair possible going concerns rather than weighed
in as many are far too good for such a fate.

I have complete Xantiae, Xm's and Cx's so pm or reply here and see if I
can offer you just what you're looking for.

Location is in Swansea, South Wales.

Andrew

very very sorry to hear about that. I was burgled recently and it really shocks you to your core, i hope the polica can catch someone and bring them to justice. When i thought there was no hope the police managed to catch one of the offenders and i'm just waiting for a court date now... so there maybe some hope, if it does then you can get compensation from the sod as well. Every little helps....

As you may or may not know i'm on the lookout for a xantia v6 mk2 pref if you have one i'd be very interested...

Sorry to hear of yet another loss Andrew. You seem to get hit on a regular basis.

Have you considered getting some guard dogs or geese? There's something satisfying about watching a snarling dog chasing off a failed thief running for his life empty-handed and it pretty much ensures he won't return.

Really sorry to hear that andrew, I think night vision gogles and a nail gun would be better than geese personally!

Cant believe you have been targeted again. :(

It really boils my urine to read about things like this. There are some proper scrotes about. As much as I'd like to think they will get their comeuppance, they'll either not get caught or get let off lightly if they do.

Sorry to hear this Andrew.

PM sent
Toby

Very sorry to hear this Andrew, with scrap prices being so high this sort of thing is going on up and down the country, the thing that irritates me is where are these vehicles being scrapped?
I do hope this doesnt continue Andrew but with such a large collection of unguarded potentialy easy cash there is always going to be some little sh*t who doesnt give a damn about anyone else around to take advantage

i know its not easy but try not to let it get to you Andrew, i know exactly how you feel as my lockup was broken into while i was away over the cxm weekend.

I'd be inclined to set a little trap. A word in advance to the local motorcyclists might have them on board, too.

Sorry to hear you have been hit again Andrew :(

I think its time to setup some infrared camera hidden on the outside of the barn and linked up to a PC with a big HDD to record what goes on, or maybe a few dotted about the place outside to catch them as they will no doubt now try again if you have already been hit twice as they will be getting over confident about it now.

Are you the only person that goes in and around the barn area as there are some nice little traps you can lay without getting into trouble ;)

These blokes are local to you, Andrew. Could be worth a chat - they'll usually respect another person's offbeat obsession in machinery - which makes your quarry a shared one...
