Hi all, I understand the 1.9TD fuel filter housing is known to leak air in via the thermostatic fuel heater system. I can't remember the procedure for stopping it leaking, was it to replace the small thermostat system, or just to replace some O-rings? If so, which O-rings do I need?
Thanks! Dom.

I forgot to update this! I also somehow totally forgot that I hadn't changed the fuel filter on the 1.9TD when I serviced and changed all the other filters. So I changed it and it seems sorted now which means I don't need to do the other seal which is always good.. We will be doing this job on the 306 though as that needs it doing. Looks like a messy job..!

It's not bad. Clean the area around it first (the aluminium housing, if you are taking the plastic housing off) , and just put a good rag around it to catch any fuel. Obviously drain the filter first to avoid excess mess.Dommo wrote:Looks like a messy job..!
Wearing gloves is a good idea too, getting the smell off your hands afterwards is annoying.
