Xantia spheres

Post by merlin617 »

I have a 1.8 petrol 16v Xantia Sensation 1998. I phoned Citroen HQ, and two branches who could not tell me between them whether this was hydractive or not and how many spheres. I can see 6 but one of the stealers thought there should be 8.

I know you lot know so can someone give the right info thanks.

Easiest way to check.
Pop the bonnet and look at the pipes going to the strut tops.
If they are thin you have non-hydractive so 6 spheres, if they are thick (6mm across) then you have hydractive so 8 spheres.

Pretty sure the sensasion was based on the lx so non-hydractive.

get your spheres from gsf car parts, £22ish each, less if you're a citroen car club member
